TORONTO (July, 27, 2026): Pizza Pizza, the largest homegrown Canadian quick-service pizza chain, is raising the bar on pizza night with the launch of its new Ancient Grains Crust, a premium menu innovation crafted with a blend of 13 grains, including whole oats, sunflower seeds, flax and millet. Paired with six bold new signature recipes and trending toppings, the new crust delivers more choice for a pizza experience that combines quality ingredients, and craveable flavours for Canadians.
Fermented for 72 hours to develop its distinctive flavour and light texture, the Ancient Grains Crust contains 24 grams of protein and 6 grams of fibre per crust. Free from any artificial colours and flavours, cholesterol and trans fat, the new crust offers another delicious way for Canadians to enjoy pizza made with quality ingredients.

These additions bring some of today’s most popular flavour trends to the menu, giving customers more opportunities to personalize their pizza experience.
Combined with the Ancient Grains Crust, these ingredients form the foundation of six new signature pizzas with meat and vegetarian options.

- Charred Cup – Cup & Char Pepperoni, Parmesan cheese and Italiano seasoning
- Broc Party – Spicy sausage, caramelized onions, broccoli and Parmesan cheese
Vegetarian Recipes:
- Mr. Funguy – Mushrooms, caramelized onions, Parmesan cheese and Italiano seasoning
- Rosé All Day – Rosé sauce, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese and Italiano seasoning
- Honey I’m Home – Caramelized onions, Parmesan cheese and Mike’s Hot Honey® for a sweet-and-savory flavour combination
In addition to the six signature recipes, customers can create their own Ancient Grains pizza with up to three toppings of their choice, offering even more ways to enjoy the new crust. The signature recipes and Create Your Own Ancient Grains pizza are available in a 12” medium size.
