We are looking for a key member to round out our marketing team. The ideal candidate must have solid digital design and front end development experience in email, web and social. He / she is creative and also possesses the coding and analytical skills to troubleshoot and optimize for improvement.
This team member needs to be an effective communicator who can manage time and priorities effectively and be ready to make an important contribution in an entrepreneurial environment and in a transforming business. This role is at the heart of digital customer journeys, fusing click-inducing design with responsive coding that renders perfectly across devices and platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build responsive emails, online advertising creative, web banners, landing pages and other digital marketing collateral
- Design and develop/ build interactive content for social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram
- Work within brand guidelines
- Work closely with the marketing managers to execute projects on time
- Assist in organizing, monitoring, archiving, and maintaining files on the server
- Modify and create custom WordPress plugins and code.
- Create and implement CSS and HTML graphic user interface (GUI) elements
- Review and QA your own work
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 3 years of experience with: CSS/Sass, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, API’s (3rd party/social) PHP, E-commerce platforms, UX/UI and responsive design and development
- Ability to come up with creative ideas & demonstrate a keen eye for design
- Ability to adhere to WordPress best practices
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to collaborate and work autonomously, taking art direction and critique
- Willingness excel in a changing environment, manage several projects simultaneously with strong time management and prioritization skills
- Willingness to learn and master new programs and technologies as they apply to the position
